Just to share last night's Saturday Night Live (SNL) parody of the Biden-Palin debates that were held this past Thursday, October 2.
In addition, the show also presented a parody of last Friday's announcement that the US Congress has finally passed the bailout (or rescue) package which President Bush signed into law immediately thereafter.

Noticed that on the 7 minute mark, Miss Moderator addressed Palin as Senator - don't think it's part of the skit but an error, hehe....
SNL with Tina Fey has been hilarious and candidly points out Palin's misguided brain from these right wing extremists. The ever-idiotic Pat Buchanan, called Palin "sensational" after the debate. If only she answered those questions regarding Deregulation, taxes, health care and Nuclear issues - I would agree she was great but focused on what she memorized during her tutoring prior to the debate.

McCain brought her on to excite his conservative base. Given her limisted national experience, she can only do so much for his candidacy. At the end of the day, McCain still has to do most of the lifting.
Obama's starting to build and maintain a rather good lead right now and he may well be on his way to a landslide victory come Election Day unless McCain comes up with a coherent economic platform. The debate this coming Tuesday will be a "make or break" opportunity for McCain.

Biden clearly won the debate but Palin's 84% approval that she beat the peoples' expectations was enough to appease the concerns of the Republican campaign of her credibility. She did carry herself very well in the debate, her knowledge notwithstanding :)

For a neophyte who pretty much got thrown into the national limelight a mere five weeks ago, she's done a tremendous job. It's easy for people to ridicule someone, especially if that someone is of an opposing political view. However, one has to hand it to her for having had the poise and strength to stand up to all the pressures of this campaign.
for someone who has a journalism degree - and had to be asked twice - but cannot name a paper or magazine that shaped her opinions, i say she is apparently just memorizing lines during the prepping.
she didn't mess up during the debate, and her supporters were happy that she didn't. if that is the standard america will embrace in november, then the US has very serious problems indeed.
With the local political scenario as hot as it is, SNL has a lot of fodder for the next few weeks. Of course, I love it all. I even stay up to watch SNL nowadays.

Anyway, maraming Kano ang katulad niya na hindi gaano nagbabasa ng mga national newspapers. Hindi iyan uncommon. Marami sa kanila ay ang binabasa lamang ay ang peryodiko ng kanilang komunidad. Kaya tuloy, medyo maliit ang mundo nila. Nakabasa na ako ng ganoong mga peryodiko at mababaw lang ang writing sa mga iyon. Plus, halos hindi binabanggit ng mga iyon ang mga nangyayari sa mundo. :-(
